Terms of Service

1. Using FreeVoiceClone

These terms govern voice cloning, speech generation and the voice community on FreeVoiceClone. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, stop using it. You must have legal capacity to accept them, or the necessary consent of a parent or guardian. Keep account information accurate and access credentials secure. If acting for an organization, you must be authorized to do so.

2. Your content and voice rights

You retain the rights you hold in your recordings, scripts and other submissions. Uploading or cloning does not transfer ownership of a person's voice to us or to other users. You must have the rights and informed permission needed to upload, clone and share the voice for your chosen use. You grant us a non-exclusive license to process, reproduce and adapt your submissions, including through service providers, as needed to provide the service and protect it against abuse.

3. Public and private voices

Free-plan voices are public; eligible paid plans can choose public or private visibility. Making a voice public authorizes us to display, distribute and promote its public profile and generated samples, and allows other users to generate audio with it through the service. Original clone recordings are not published. Private voices are available to their owner, subject to plan eligibility, and processed by providers as needed to operate the service. Public availability does not give anyone ownership of the speaker's identity or permission to impersonate them.

By publishing a voice, you grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual and irrevocable license to host, display, distribute and promote the public model and generated samples and let others use them through this service. We may retain or keep them public after you delete the voice or account or change visibility. Original clone recordings remain private. The processing of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Do not clone or share a voice without authorization, impersonate or deceive others, commit fraud, harass people, exploit minors, or infringe privacy, intellectual property or other rights. Comply with applicable laws and required AI disclosures. Do not bypass payment, access controls or usage limits, automate abusive traffic, manipulate rewards or misuse reporting tools. We may restrict access or remove content to address violations or protect the service.

5. Generated audio and commercial use

Generated audio may contain errors and does not prove that the speaker said or endorsed the words. Free-tier downloads are for personal use; downloads on Plus and Pro include commercial permission, subject to these terms and third-party rights. Buying download passes alone does not add commercial permission. Neither generation nor download transfers rights in the underlying model or another person's voice, or guarantees exclusive or copyright-protected output.

6. Plans, payments and download passes

Prices, limits and billing intervals are shown on the pricing and checkout pages. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Plan changes follow the terms shown when confirmed. Download passes do not expire. The first clean download unlocks a generation for one pass; repeat downloads do not spend another pass while the file remains available. Passes do not guarantee permanent storage. Except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by us, fees already paid are non-refundable. Canceling a subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the current billing period. Contact us about billing errors.

7. Deletion, privacy and complaints

The public-content license above survives deletion of a voice, account closure or visibility changes; we may retain or continue making previously public models and samples available. Audio already generated or downloaded by others is not recalled. See the Privacy Policy for personal data processing, retention and related rights. Report suspected unauthorized voice cloning or other infringing content on its page or contact us with the relevant page link, a description of the issue and evidence of your rights or authorization. We may request additional information or identity verification and, based on our review and applicable law, remove content, restrict access or take other appropriate measures. Submitting a report does not guarantee removal.

8. Availability and changes

Generative AI is uncertain, and identical inputs may produce different results. Cloning and generation may be affected by recording quality, language, text and the model. Output may contain mispronunciations, omissions, repetitions or noise, or differ from expectations in timbre, accent, intonation or emotion. We do not guarantee an exact match to the original voice, successful generation every time or any particular result. Processing times and service availability are not guaranteed. Keep your own copies of files you need. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose; nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may update the service and these terms, publish the revised date and notify users of material changes. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the service and cancel any renewal.
