Privacy Policy

What we process

We process account and authentication data, voice samples you upload or record, transcripts you review, scripts submitted for speech generation, generated audio, model settings, usage and billing status needed to provide FreeVoiceClone.

Voice and biometric data

A voice sample and a model derived from it may be treated as biometric or sensitive data in some jurisdictions. We process them to provide voice cloning and speech generation and protect the service. Original clone recordings are not published. Public models, profiles and generated samples can be displayed, distributed and promoted, and used by others through the service. Private voices are access-controlled, subject to the public-content license for models previously published.

Under the Terms of Service, we may retain or continue making previously public models and generated samples available after a voice or account is deleted or visibility changes. This license does not override mandatory privacy rights, lawful consent withdrawals or valid infringement claims. Contact us to request review or removal on those grounds.

Only upload a voice you own, have the speaker’s informed permission to use, or are otherwise legally entitled to process. Our speech providers process the sample and generated content on our behalf under their separate retention and security controls.

Product analytics

We may collect and use information about your use of the service for analytics purposes.

Storage and retention

Generated clean audio is normally kept for 7 days. We may retain previously public models and generated samples and continue making them available under the public-content license after deletion of a voice or account or a change in visibility. Deletion does not recall content already generated, downloaded or stored by other users. We may also retain records as needed for legal obligations, security, billing and dispute resolution. Mandatory privacy rights and lawful consent withdrawals remain unaffected. Service providers have their own retention controls.

Sharing and service providers

We share data only as needed with hosting, database, object-storage, authentication, voice-processing, analytics and payment providers. Stripe handles payment details; we do not store full card data. A copied public voice link contains a random analytics attribution value that does not grant access and does not encode your identity.

Your choices and rights

You can change a voice’s visibility where your plan allows and delete your voices, samples and works in the product. Deleting content or an account does not by itself revoke the public-content license in our Terms. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable law and security verification. A contractual license does not remove rights that applicable law requires us to honor.
